In honor of National School Social Work Week, we would like to recognize the incredible social impact of social workers in our community.

Kim M. Jones is a dedicated school social worker at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, only minutes away from the Tops Supermarket where a horrific shooting shook the community in May 2022. Kim Jones responded by offering support and therapy to students affected by the tragedy, necessary to help the community heal.
