Founded in the Fall of 2012 by current president, Mandi Torres, the Campus Girl Scouts is a new organization on campus. By following our vow within the Law to always be a sister to every scout, this organization allows passionate young women (and men) dedicated to scouting, their community, and their country to support girls younger than them by offering them unique on campus opportunities, as wel

l as allowing its members to engage in frequent community service within scouting! Campus Scouts is an organization that serves to be an aid in any way we choose within the Girl Scouts of Western New York Council. Members of this organization can be and have been involved in volunteering at after-school programs, weekend events, hosting on campus events, planning trips and executing the trip-preparation, and much, much more! We have recently planned a badge night for middle-school aged Cadette Girl Scouts, and partnered with NYPIRG to hold a Recycling Workshop. Up and coming we have a Festival of the Arts and another badge night on the horizon! That being said, this organization is based around promoting the enhancement of leadership skills, independence (and fun!) of young girls in our community, as well as enhancing our leadership skills and employability.
