SUSTAINABLE LIVING COMMITTEE PRESENTS:

Puzzle and Game Exchange Event
ALL Faculty and Staff are Welcome!
Exchange Puzzles and Games One-4-One
Bring your gently used (and complete) puzzles and board games to exchange for new (to you) fun for the holidays!
Helpful tips:
1. Make sure your puzzle or game has all necessary pieces. If it is short one or two, please note on box clearly.
2. Preferably no electronic pieces, we want things you can do in a blizzard.
3. Do not gift wrap items
4. Mark toy donations clearly.
ALSO: Not required, but we will also be collecting new to gently used toys for donation to a local charity to bring some sustainable holiday cheer to a local family in need. Please bring something you already have and do not purchase new for this event.

Location: Center for Tomorrow parking lot, North Campus (Enter at South entrance across from the Center for Tomorrow)
Electronics: SUNNKING is accepting recycled electronics. For a list of acceptable and unacceptable electronics materials, visit: sunnking.com/acceptable-materials
Blue Table Healthy Food Wish List: Donations to UB’s Blue Table are being accepted. Below is a Wish List of the accepted items.
• Most Requested: Shelf stable soy and almond milk, 1 lb. bags of white rice, toothpaste and deodorant
Hearts for the Homeless Clothing Collection
• Gently used clothing for reuse by community group Hearts for the Homeless
Sports Gear Collection:
• Used/excess sports equipment for Leveling the Playing Field. Consider donating your gently used equipment to help support kids in Western New York practice and play the sports they love. For a full list of acceptable and unacceptable items to donate, click here.

UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO PROFESSIONAL STAFF SENATE SUSTAINABLE LIVING COMMITTEE PRESENTS:

Plant Exchange Event
ALL Faculty and Staff are Welcome!
Exchange Plants One-4-One
Plants accepted include perennials, small shrubs and small trees.
Helpful tips:
o Please include a label on the potted plants with preferred growing conditions, e.g. sun, moisture. Labels can be a plastic fork (tines up) to hold your index card in place.
o Bring extra pots to make sure you have a way to get your new friends home.
o May is a great time to divide perennials and grasses and share them at the plant exchange. Houseplants and perennial seeds in sealed envelope with instructions also welcome.
o Absolutely no invasive species. When in doubt, please don’t bring it! You can view examples of invasive plants here.

DATE: Wednesday, May 21, 2025
TIME: Drop-off between 9:00 - 10:00 AM (optional) or arrive by 3:00 PM.

Join the PSS Sustainable Living Committee for our annual spring cleanup of the shore along Lake Lasalle prior to commencement. We provide the gloves and bags and just ask for an hour of your time (or whatever you can contribute) to beautify this picturesque part of the north campus. This event is open to anyone in the UB Community that would like to pitch in.

Join the PSS Sustainable Living Committee for our first annual spring cleanup of the new wildflower beds on South Campus. We provide the tools and just ask for about an hour of your time (or whatever you can contribute) to beautify this picturesque part of the south campus.
