Since 1931 when GSE was established, over 20,000 students have graduated and moved on to successful careers as university presidents and administrators, principals, superintendents, psychologists, counselors, information specialists, librarians, teachers, faculty and outstanding researchers. Our alumni are found in their professions all over the world. GSE houses four departments: Counseling, Scho

ol and Educational Psychology (CSEP); Educational Leadership and Policy (ELP); Learning and Instruction (LAI); and Information Science (IS). Our award-winning faculty are engaged in groundbreaking research in a wide range of educational issues.
