The curriculum of the Divinity School integrates classical theological studies with the professional and practical education needed for effective ministry in the 21st century. This year's Cooperative Baptist Fellowship General Assembly was full of moments of connection, cultivation, and learning. Thank you to those who heard and received the work of CUDS at the following events:

- Rev. Rebecca Mathis updated Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina on our new Center for Calling & Ministry.
- Dr. Sarah Boberg presented a learning lab on "Embodied Liturgy: Spiritual Practices for All Ages to Embrace BOLD Faith Expressions."
- Dean Barry Jones and Rev. Rebecca Mathis presented a learning lab on "Discerning Boldly: Cultivating Cultures of Calling."

And a special thank you to the many friends, old and new, who stopped by our table for a hug, a squishy camel, or for more information about the next step in their theological education!

Do you desire to dive into the riches of theological education, but you are concerned about the length of the traditional Master of Divinity curriculum? The MA in Christian Ministry (MACM) may be the solution you are seeking.

The advantage of the MA in Christian Ministry is its focus. Designed for students with specific ministerial goals in mind, the MACM offers a less comprehensive but more streamlined approach to theological education. Students have the opportunity to concentrate on one of the following areas: Christian Education, Church Music and Worship, Congregational Leadership, Ministry to Children, or Teaching the Bible.

Dr. Andy Roby, Gay T. and Haskell A. Duncan Chair of Church Music, will conduct the Greenville Choral Society Concert Choir in sacred concert in Canterbury Cathedral, UK on June 15. The group will also perform on June 18 with a larger choir in London’s Barbican Centre with the renowned ensemble Voces8 and Dan Forrest. Dr. Roby is also serving as Interim Associate Pastor for Music and Worship at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Raleigh.

Dr. Sarah Boberg, assistant professor of Christian education, presented a paper entitled "Everything Teaches: Church Spaces as Places of Belonging for Children and Families," at the National Association of Baptist Professors of Religion annual meeting in Stone Mountain, Georgia, May 18-20.

Campbell Divinity’s Hispanic Theological Education program celebrated graduation on Saturday, May 25, in Butler Chapel. Graduates earned program completion certificates while others received recognition for classes completed this year. Since 2002, the HTE program has offered certificates in theological education in Spanish.

Congratulations to these graduates! We are thankful for God's call on their lives.
