Campbell University is investing in the future of the Cape Fear River ecosystem.
A new reforestation and forest management plan is underway at River Park, transforming more than 100 acres into a healthier, more sustainable forest for future generations.
The long-term project will remove invasive species, improve wildlife habitats, protect water quality, and create expanded opportunities for research, recreation, and environmental stewardship.
Over the next 15–30 years, the land will be carefully restored to support stronger forests, healthier ecosystems, and hands-on learning opportunities for Campbell students and faculty.
