The New York Film Academy (NYFA) offers degree, 1 & 2 year conservatory programs, short-term workshops, and youth camps in a variety of visual storytelling, visual arts, and performing arts disciplines. Those disciplines may include: Filmmaking, Acting for Film, Producing, Photography, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Documentary Filmmaking, Game Design, 3D Animation & VFX, Musical Theatre, Broadcas

t Journalism, Graphic Design, Virtual Reality, Music Video and Digital Editing. NYFA has always followed the philosophy of "learning by doing", in hands-on classes taught by dynamic, industry accomplished and passionate instructors. This June and July, NYFA is thrilled to partner with , Singapore’s largest content creator and national media network, to provide its directors with an in-depth filmmaking workshop designed to enhance their visual storytelling and directing skills. Throughout the programme at our Los Angeles campus, the participants will take hands-on courses in cinematography, production sound recording, screenwriting, producing and directing, culminating in the production of short films that will be screened in NYFA’s state-of-the-art theater at the end of the programme.

Congratulations to NYFA Los Angeles BFA Acting for Film alum, Trevor Newlin, on his role as "Mr. Handsome" in the new Superman movie! 🎭 ✨

Last fall, Trevor returned to NYFA LA to share how NYFA inspired his journey into character acting, from playing "The Monstrosity" in Smile 2 to the "Xenomorph" in Alien: Romulus.
