Every summer, the Freeman Foundation generously funds Champlain College students to intern across Asia. This one-of-a-kind opportunity prepares students for success, both personally and professionally:

โœ… Building the confidence to navigate a brand-new setting
โœ… Developing transferable skills that bring value in any workplace
โœ… Gaining real industry experience

This week, a new group of students is headed to Asia, with one student following in Taylor's footsteps, being a third-generation intern at Kura Monzen in Kyoto, Japan!

With thanks to the Freeman Foundation for supporting our students and making these experiences possible.

One year after graduating from Champlain College, Vivi Torontali '25 is fresh off the trail from her first professional solo exhibition, Chromatopography: Landscapes in Line and Color.

This collection, which started in her Creative Media Portfolio II class, transforms topographic data into layered visual compositions. "Chromatopography reveals the hidden rhythms of the earth, inviting viewers to experience terrain as something alive: breathing, flowing, and quietly pulsing."

Get the full story at the link below to learn about Vivi's journey from New Zealand to Vermont to Denmark, and how she's launching her career, full-send.

๐ŸŒŸ The confidence to speak in front of a room full of strangers

๐ŸŒŸ The ability to communicate efficiently and adapt when the project, the team, or even the language changes

๐ŸŒŸ The courage to say โ€œyesโ€ even when itโ€™s scary

This spring, seven graduating seniors sat down with admitted students and their families for panel discussions reflecting on their four years at Champlain College. Hear what these soon-to-be-graduates had to say: https://bit.ly/4tHqtnB

โ€œIn today's world, money has become invisible. We tap a phone and walk away. Our kids never see it, never hold it, and we're expecting them to understand how it works.โ€

Built by a Vermont store owner who spent a decade watching teens enter the workforce financially unprepared, Aldo's Allowance Academy helps to close that knowledge gap, starting at home.
