Last night, Butler County Community College's Personal Empowerment Training (PET) wrapped up with great success!

Some participants even celebrated their journey with custom “Proud of Me” shirts—so FUN! We also enjoyed delicious food and sweet treats, including these amazing “L.I.V.E.” cookies created by Renee Pritchard of Dimple & Dough. Each cookie served as a heartfelt reminder that we are all:

💜 Lovable
💛 Important
💙 Valuable
🧡 Empowered

One participant, Janet, shared this powerful reflection on her experience:

“I think that this content should be incorporated into education at every level. These concepts are essential for facilitating respectful dialogue and promoting understanding in a world that is too often characterized by misunderstanding and polarization.”

A big shoutout to PET Facilitator Ken Clowes for leading with sincerity, kindness, and a genuine passion for empowering others. Thank you, Ken, for helping build a stronger, more compassionate community! 💫

Today, we welcomed a new group of EMS Academy participants to Butler County Community College’s Personal Empowerment Training (PET)!

Over the next few weeks, they’ll dive into the power of emotional intelligence—learning how it can enhance their performance, decision-making, and resilience in high-stress, high-stakes environments.

A big thank you to our PET facilitator, Matthew Clayton, for his dedication to empowering others through insightful instruction, real-world examples, and just the right dose of wit. 💡👏

🌟 A big thank you to Seneca Valley School District's Hope Squad for inviting us to be part of Annual Hope Week at Ryan Gloyer Middle School! 🌈

We had a great time connecting with students as they:
🎡 Spun the “Emotions Wheel”
💬 Talked about how emotions affect us mentally and physically
💖 Learned the power of positive affirmations
🎁 Left with sensory stickers and sweet treats

The students were not only enthusiastic but also shared insightful and thoughtful perspectives. We’re grateful to be part of such a meaningful initiative promoting mental health awareness! 💚
