Montana Tech Alumni & Friends The Montana Tech Alumni Association was organized to promote the interests of the Institution to potential students, alumni, state and nation.

The Montana Tech Alumni Association, an independent part of the institution, was first organized in 1904 for the purpose of promoting the interests of the Institution to potential students, alumni, community, state and nation. In 1953, the Association was incorporated as a nonprofit organization. The preamble to the charter, which was amended in 1978, states: “In order to secure unity among the gr

aduates of Montana Tech (formerly Montana School of Mines/Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology), to foster an attachment to our Alma Mater, and to promote the interests of Montana Tech, we do hereby constitute ourselves an Association to be known as the Montana Tech Alumni Association.”

Copper Game is almost here! ⛏️

Join us for the Montana Tech Alumni & Friends Copper Game Tailgate, proudly sponsored by Montana Resources, on Thursday, August 27 from 3:30–6:00 p.m.!

Come connect with fellow Orediggers and enjoy snacks and beverages, Oredigger giveaways before Montana Tech takes on Ottawa University (Arizona) at Bob Green Field. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m.

📍 SSC Tailgate Lot — next to the EMETAD trailer near the Northwest Stadium Entrance

⚠️ IMPORTANT GAME DAY NOTE: A clear bag policy will be in effect for all Montana Tech home games this year. The Montana Tech Foundation will have 100 clear bags to give away at the tailgate—first come, first served, while supplies last!
