Seed Sales & Warehouse Manager
SilverEdge Cooperative is seeking a motivated Seed Sales & Warehouse Manager to
lead and grow our seed department while overseeing warehouse operations, inventory
management, logistics, seed treatment, and customer service. This position plays a key
role in ensuring seed products are available, accurately inventoried, professionally
handled, and delivered on time while supporting profitable seed sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall seed business, including inventory planning, preseason
bookings, product availability, product billing, and supplier relationships.
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring a clean, organized, safe, and
efficient facility.
Maintain accurate seed inventory, perform cycle counts, and coordinate year-end
physical inventories.
Manage seed treatment operations, equipment maintenance, regulatory
compliance, and recordkeeping.
Coordinate seed deliveries, routing, and logistics to ensure excellent customer
service.
Support Agronomy Sales Specialists with product availability, customer events,
plots, and sales initiatives.
Maintain warehouse equipment, seed tenders, forklifts, delivery vehicles, and
facilities.
Monitor performance metrics, complete required reporting, and assist with
budgeting and inventory reconciliation.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; agriculture-related degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in agronomy, seed, warehouse operations, or a related
field preferred.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Valid driver& #39;s license required.
CDL, Commercial Seed Treater License, and forklift certification (or ability to
obtain) preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, inventory management, and problem-
solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AgVision experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
Work indoors and outdoors, including extended seasonal hours.
