The Ventura County Community College District is a public community college district serving residents in Ventura County. The District's three colleges-Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura-offer programs for transfer to four-year colleges and universities, occupational and vocational training, basic skills instruction, as well as economic development and continuing education for cultural growth, life enr

ichment, and skills improvement. Each of the colleges provides a wide range of general programs and services to students, as well as focusing on its own unique and specialty areas.

🎓 Every graduate has a story.

Behind every commencement ceremony is a journey shaped by hard work, perseverance, and determination. From first-generation college students and working parents to veterans and returning learners, thousands of students across Moorpark College, Oxnard College, and Ventura College are crossing the stage this spring and stepping into new opportunities.

In his latest op-ed, Chancellor Rick MacLennan reflects on the power of community colleges to transform lives, strengthen communities, and create pathways to economic mobility. He also highlights a historic milestone for Moorpark College as it celebrates its first graduating class of bachelor’s degree students through the college’s applied baccalaureate program.

As we celebrate the Class of 2026, we honor not only their achievements, but the impact they will have on our region for years to come. 💙
