July is Disability Pride Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the history, achievements, advocacy, and lived experiences of the disabled community. It also invites us to reflect on the importance of accessibility, inclusion, equity, and acceptance.
As we recognize the month, we're also sharing an opportunity for members of the Lesley community who identify as disabled to submit work for Deconstructing Disability: Perspectives + Identities. By centering the work of disabled artists, the exhibition seeks to expand and deepen understandings of disability through diverse perspectives, identities, and ways of moving through the world.
Open to students, staff, faculty, and administrators. Submission deadline: September 13. More info here: https://livelesley.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/marketingteam/IQCkLt5Ih1vGSJsQcz5HFwx0AemAzok5Zi6MNAOmPj1FqbQ?e=LYRBQD
