Eames Demetrios is an artist, filmmaker, design steward, and storyteller whose global project Kcymaerxthaere explores place, history, language, and storytelling through more than 160 parallel historic sites around the world. Jennifer Siegal is the founder and principal of Office of Mobile Design and, in 2023, founded The Ojai Design Posse (ODP), which empowers women working in the built and natural environments through gatherings that inspire excellence, cultivate creative connections, spark collaboration, and celebrate achievement. ODP Public Talks is a biannual free lecture and conversation series that extends this mission to the broader Ojai community, bringing together compelling voices in design, architecture, art, and the natural environment. The series takes its name and spirit from Jiddu Krishnamurti’s talks beneath the oak trees in Ojai, creating a contemporary forum for open exchange, curiosity, and dialogue. Jennifer and Eames have been friends for many years, making their conversation a personal, longstanding exchange about design, ideas, and how we understand the world.
