🌱 Building resilient communities through collaboration, innovation and sustainability.

Rutgers School of Business–Camden and the New Jersey Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association recently hosted the 4th Annual Sustainability Conference, bringing together leaders and changemakers to explore how business, education, nonprofits and government can work together to address today’s most pressing challenges.

The conference featured two keynote speakers, technical panels on workforce development and climate resilience, themed roundtable discussions, a student poster session, and a special video message from Senator Andy Kim.

Thank you to all of the speakers, panelists, students, partners and attendees who contributed to a meaningful day of conversation and collaboration around building more resilient communities in the face of climate change and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Rutgers School of Business–Camden students had the opportunity to connect with fellow classmates and working professionals, explore additional degree programs, and learn about exciting opportunities, including study abroad trips and business expos.

Rutgers School of Business–Camden welcomes Jennifer Wu Tucker, J. Michael Cook/Deloitte Professor of Accounting at the University of Florida, for an engaging discussion on accounting research, financial reporting, voluntary disclosure and innovation.

Professor Tucker’s research has been published in leading accounting journals, and she currently serves as Senior Editor of Accounting Horizons and incoming Editor of The Accounting Review.

Benefits Intern at EverCommerce

“During my internship at EverCommerce, I’ve developed stronger problem-solving, data analysis, and project management skills. I learned how to assess an ambiguous business problem, work with different stakeholders to understand it, and turn that information into a practical solution. I’ve also become more confident in presenting my work and ideas to different audiences in the organization.”

Justin was especially excited to gain firsthand insight into how projects move from an idea to implementation and to challenge himself beyond the classroom.

“I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, so I enjoyed gaining exposure to how teams evaluate opportunities, manage challenges, and contribute to the broader organizational goals.”
