✨ From high school graduate to future nurse! 🩺🎓

Dr. Dickens had the privilege of recognizing Taylor County High School graduates who have committed to attending Campbellsville University and pursuing a degree in nursing.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome these future healthcare professionals to the CU Nursing family. The journey is just beginning, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish! 💜

KLN Nurse Educators Conference Recap

We are proud to celebrate our faculty who represented CUSoN at the KLN Nurse Educators Conference, where they engaged in learning, collaboration, and professional presentations alongside nurse educators from across the state.

✨ Spotlight on our presenters! ✨
A special shoutout to Mrs. Rhonda Vale and Mrs. Nichole Gwilliam, who delivered a poster presentation titled “Aligning Clinical Instructor Mentoring with Core Competencies: A Faculty Development Approach” — a meaningful contribution to the conversation on Clinical Instructor Mentoring and Development.

These experiences are at the heart of what we do — strengthening our program through continued professional growth and deepening our commitment to excellence in nursing education.

We’re grateful for every opportunity that allows our faculty to connect, grow, and champion the future of healthcare education.

📚🩺 Continuing to learn so we can better support our students and instructors!

Some of our faculty recently attended the Clinical Instructor Workshop hosted by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN). They gained valuable tools and resources to share with our clinical instructors while also participating in role-play activities, collaboration, and networking opportunities with fellow nurse educators.

We are grateful for opportunities that strengthen nursing education and support excellence in clinical instruction! 💜

The Health Science Program would like to extend a huge thank you to Campbellsville University for their generous donation of a phlebotomy training arm to our classroom!

This equipment will provide our students with valuable hands-on practice and help prepare them for real-world healthcare experiences and future careers in the medical field. Opportunities like this make a tremendous difference in student learning and success.

We are incredibly thankful for the continued support of our program and our students. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

✈️🩺 Serving beyond the classroom!

CU KANS members gathered medical supplies to send with three CU nursing students participating in a summer mission trip to Belize. 💜

We are so proud of our students for living out compassion and service both locally and globally, and thankful for a nursing community that supports opportunities to care for others wherever the need exists.

Please join us in praying for safe travels and meaningful impact during their mission experience! ✝️
