📞 2006 called… and we want the pics. 👀📸

CU Nursing is turning 20, and we’re throwing it ALL the way back to where it began! 🎉🩺

CU Nursing alumni, we want to see YOU then & now!

Dig through those old photo albums, MySpace-era camera rolls, flip-phone photos, or wherever your 2006 memories are hiding. 😂

Send us:
📸 THEN: A photo of you in 2006
🩺 NOW: A photo of you today
❤️ PLUS: A quick update on where your nursing journey—or life!—has taken you

Whether 2006 found you in nursing school, high school, elementary school or in diapers… we want to see how it started vs. how it’s going!

For 20 years, the CU School of Nursing has been blessed to educate, encourage, and send nurses out to serve their communities—and there’s no better way to celebrate this milestone than by celebrating YOU, our alumni!

⏰ Send us your photos by September 14!

And alumni… tag your CU Nursing classmates! We want to see those 2006 hairstyles, outfits, and questionable photo quality. 😂❤️🐯

🩺 Bringing Simulation to Life! 🎨✨

Mrs. Lindsey Bland recently represented the CU School of Nursing at the Kentucky Simulation Alliance (KSA) quarterly meeting, where she participated in moulage training—learning techniques that bring an added level of realism to healthcare simulation.

From realistic wounds and injuries to other visual patient cues, moulage helps create immersive scenarios that challenge students to assess, think critically, and respond in a safe learning environment before stepping into real-world patient care.

We’re thankful for faculty who continue investing in their own professional development so they can bring innovative, hands-on learning experiences back to our students. ❤️🩺

Because the more realistic the practice, the more prepared our future nurses can be when it matters most!

POV: We are BACK IN THE LAB! 🩺🧤🐯

There’s no better way to learn nursing than by putting knowledge into action! Our students are back in the skills lab getting the hands-on experience that helps take concepts from the classroom and turn them into confidence at the bedside. ❤️

Every skill practiced, every question asked, and every opportunity to try again is another step toward becoming a competent, compassionate, and confident nurse.

We’re so glad to have our students back in these spaces, learning together and getting one step closer to the calling ahead of them.

Welcome back, future nurses. Let’s get to work! ❤️🤍🐯

✨ Opening Chapel + a little CU spirit! 🐯❤️

We kicked off the school year together at Opening Chapel this morning! Several of our School of Nursing faculty donned their full academic regalia for the occasion, and of course, we had to stop for a photo in front of some of the NEW CU signage! 👀✨

Keep your eyes open—you’ll be seeing more of this new look popping up across campus as Campbellsville University rolls out its new look! ❤️🤍🐯

And because today also happens to be National Dog Day… we couldn’t make a post without including one of CU Nursing’s biggest (and shortest 😉) fans—Beau! 🐾💙 He may be a little low to the ground, but his CU spirit is BIG!

Now we want to see YOUR four-legged study buddies, unofficial nursing mascots, and favorite furry family members! 🐶🐱

👇 Drop a picture of your pet in the comments so we can celebrate National Dog Day together!

Here’s to a new school year, a fresh look around campus, and plenty of Tiger spirit! 🐯🩺❤️

📚🩺 Florence is packed and ready… which can only mean one thing: IT’S BACK-TO-SCHOOL TIME! ❤️🐯

Today marks the official start of classes for a brand-new semester at the Campbellsville University School of Nursing! Whether you’re walking into your very first nursing class or beginning the final stretch toward graduation, we’re so excited to have our students back and our halls full again.

A new semester brings new classes, new clinical experiences, new challenges, new friendships, and countless opportunities to grow into the nurse God has called you to be.

As we begin, we’re holding tight to our verse for this year:

“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.” — Galatians 6:9 🌱

So grab the stethoscope, pack the bag, say a prayer, and get ready. Florence has been doing this nursing thing for a while, and we think she’d agree:

New semester. New opportunities. Same calling. 🩺❤️

Here’s to a semester of Caring. Competence. Compassion.

📸 Students, we want to see YOUR first-day photos! Tag us and use so we can celebrate the start of the semester with you!

THE TIGERS ARE BACK. ❤️🤍

There’s just something special about the first day of a new semester—the hallways are full, the classrooms are buzzing, and our future nurses are officially BACK ON CAMPUS! 📚✨

Today is the beginning of new friendships, new challenges, new skills, lots of coffee ☕️, and one semester closer to the nurse God has called you to be.

📸 WE WANT TO SEE YOUR FIRST DAY!
Snap those back-to-school pictures, first-day selfies, new-scrubs photos, or pictures with your nursing crew and TAG US so we can celebrate with you!

And don’t forget to use so we can follow along all semester long! ❤️

Here’s to the first day, fresh starts, and everything God has in store for our students this year. Let’s do this, CU Nursing! 🐯🩺✨

That’s a Wrap on Nursing Orientation! 🩺🐯❤️

Three days. One big beginning. ✨

Day 2 gave our students a little change of pace with mostly remote work, an in-person compliance session, and a chance to meet our RN to BSN Program Coordinator and learn more about opportunities to continue their nursing education. 📚

Then came Day 3—the final step before classes begin!

☀️ Our first-semester students started the morning with breakfast provided by Elkhorn Baptist Church, along with an important reminder: as they prepare to care for others, they must also care for their own spiritual health. We are so thankful for a community willing to encourage our students, pray over this new season, and remind them of the importance of getting plugged into a local church and Christian community. ❤️

🍽️ Taylor Regional Hospital provided lunch and, once again, showed just how deeply they invest in our students and their success. We are incredibly grateful for their continued partnership and the many ways they support the next generation of nurses.

And with that… Nursing Orientation 2026 is officially a wrap! 🎉

The introductions have been made. The scrubs are ready. And on Monday, the coursework begins. 🩺

You are preparing for more than a career, you’re preparing to care for people in some of their most vulnerable moments—and we cannot wait to watch you learn, grow, serve, and become the nurses God has called you to be.

Monday, here we come!🐯❤️

Orientation Day 1: COMPLETE! 🩺🐯❤️

And just like that, Day 1 of Nursing Orientation is in the books! 📚✨

Today was all about getting our students welcomed, prepared, and excited for the semester ahead—and we had some pretty amazing friends help us along the way!

☀️ Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital started our morning by providing breakfast for our students.

👟 Running Soles stopped by to talk all things footwear and help our future nurses learn the importance of choosing the right shoes for those long clinical days.

🩺 The Scrub Company joined us with some fun freebies for our students.

🥗 Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center kept everyone fueled by providing lunch.

☕️ And to top it all off, four lucky students received donated 7 Brew gift cards—because nursing school and caffeine just seem to go together! 😉

We are incredibly thankful for the community and healthcare partners who continue to pour into our students. Your generosity, encouragement, and investment in the next generation of nurses does not go unnoticed. ❤️

As we begin this new semester, we’re carrying Galatians 6:9 with us:
“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.” 🌱

Day 1 down. Keep showing up. Keep doing good. Don’t give up.

Now… bring on Day 2! 🐯🩺

’Twas the night before Nursing Orientation,
and all through the halls,
Not a student was stirring—
No footsteps, no calls.

The scrubs had been folded,
textbooks laid out with care,
While excitement and nerves
seemed to hang in the air.

Tomorrow begins
more than classes and grades—
It’s a calling to serve,
to bring hope, heal, and aid.

Early classes and clinicals,
long study nights, too,
Moments of triumph
and hard days to push through.

So when the days feel trying
and the journey seems long,
Know the One who has called you
will help keep you strong.

“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.” — Galatians 6:9

So tonight, future nurses,
say a prayer and sleep tight…
And when the new day begins—
may your dreams take flight. 🩺❤️

Happy Nursing Orientation Eve!

May this be a year of doing good, serving well, loving deeply, and not giving up.

Caring. Competence. Compassion.
