Congratulations to our 25/26 award winners! Along with awarding the MVPs of our men’s and women’s teams, we also bring recognition to our Axtell award winners and our all-academic athletes. This group is certainly talented in and out of the classroom!
The Axtell award is given to the male and female athletes who excelled in leadership and ambassadorship of the SLU Nordic program. We have been super thankful to have both winner, Anika Vandenburgh ‘27, and Nico Alexander ‘26, as team captains who lead and achieve. 🙌
Additionally, we want to recognize Sammy Legate ‘27 and Evan Nichols ‘28 for their success over the course of the EISA Carnival season, totaling the most points and becoming our MVPs of the year🏆
Lastly, amazing job to our athletes named to the national All-academic ski team for their excellent cumulative GPAs over the course of their college career. Putting the student in student-athlete: Justin Levesque ‘27, Oliver White ‘27, Riley Hutchinson ‘27, Anika Vandenburgh ‘27, Emily Percival ‘28, Emily Campbell ‘28, Carter Forest ‘28, Carl Morse ‘28, Boden Sundell ‘28, Evan Nichols ‘28, and Abby Murphy ‘29!
