Shout out to Kristen Tarno.

A Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) at Great Oak Counseling also an adjunct instructor at Mineral Area Community College.
Graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2025 and recently graduated with an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Counseling this past May. She is working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) as well as becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
At present, she works with individuals across a variety of populations, with a particular passion for working with children.
She is passionate about counseling because she finds it to be deeply fulfilling work and strongly believe that mental health is equally as important as physical health.

The last day to return rented textbooks to MAC Cape is Tuesday, May 19 by 3:00 PM.

⚠️ No textbooks will be accepted after 3:00 PM.

The Bookstore will also be at MAC Cape on Tuesday processing textbook buybacks from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM for non-rental books.

Please plan ahead to avoid late fees!
