Autumn is spending another summer with Ag Moves. She attends Southeast Missouri State University and studies agricultural education. Autumn is teaching students in Blanchard, Malden, and Sikeston, as well as leading lessons at SEMO University for Youth Children. We're so glad you decided to join us again this summer!

We don't just encourage internships - we require them because we believe real-world experience is one of the most valuable parts of a student's education!

Internships allow students to apply classroom knowledge, build professional networks, develop career-ready skills, and gain confidence in their future profession.

Recent graduate Lainey Canning is a great example. What started as an internship with Wehmeyer Seed Company led to a full-time career in agricultural marketing and communications after graduation. Her experience highlights the impact of hands-on learning, industry connections, and stepping outside the classroom.

We're proud of our students who have embraced experiential learning opportunities this summer and the industry partners who continue to help prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders!

From a seventh-generation family farm in Bloomfield, Missouri, to pursuing a future in agricultural law, recent Agriculture Industry graduate Wyatt Hendley is turning his passion for agriculture into a career dedicated to serving rural communities. 🌾⚖️

Through leadership opportunities, hands-on experiences, and meaningful connections at SEMO, Wyatt is prepared to return home after law school and advocate for the farmers who helped shape his journey. We are proud to celebrate his undergraduate accomplishments and look forward to what comes next!
