The College of STEM recently hosted our Welcome Back Picnic in the science quad. Dozens of students, faculty, staff, and family enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs, yard games, music, a solar telescope, and drones! Numerous STEM student organizations hosted tables at the event!

A new pathway for future engineers. ⚙️

We have partnered with Missouri S&T to create the Cooperative Engineering Pathway Program, allowing students to start at SEMO and seamlessly transfer to Missouri S&T to complete engineering degrees in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.

STEM honored its upcoming summer retirees at a reception today.

Philip Crawford, Professor and Chairperson in the Department of Chemistry & Physics, has been with SEMO since August 1992.

Theresa Buttry, Administrative Assistant in the Department of Chemistry & Physics, has been with SEMO since June 1980.

Henry Clark, Instructor in the Department of Mathematics, has been with SEMO since August 2010.
