🌟 Scholarship Opportunity for Women in Media!

Are you pursuing a career in media, advertising, journalism, production, creative design, or another communications-related field? You could be eligible for a $10,000 scholarship through the AWM Foundation and NCTA – The Internet & Television Association!

The selected student will also have the opportunity to create an original piece of work that may be featured through AWM Foundation and NCTA media channels, plus receive a ticket to attend the Gracies Leadership Awards in New York City.

🎓 Open to female undergraduate and graduate students attending accredited U.S. colleges and universities.

Through Southeast Missouri State University’s institutional membership with the Broadcast Education Association (BEA), full-time undergraduate students can get a FREE BEA student membership through December 31, 2027!

🎥 Students in MC351: Basic TV and Film Production, taught by Professor Fred Jones, M.F.A., explored the art of visual storytelling through hands-on filmmaking.

For their Spring 2026 final projects, students created short films without dialogue, challenging themselves to communicate ideas, emotions, and narratives through cinematography, editing, sound, and creative visual techniques. ✨
