This event has lots of energy, nearly 200 organizations ready to talk to you, food and beverage trucks, and a live DJ! Come out and see what happens after class!

Chef Aaron May of the Food Network is coming to SIU for the 1869 Grille's Grand Opening on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 11 AM to 1 PM, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 12 PM.

Then at 2 pm in the Student Center Old Main Room, will be your chance to attend that Meet Chef May discussion event. Where he will talk about his culinary career and becoming a Food Network personality.

Relax with beginners yoga on Friday, August 21 between 11:00-12:00 in the Dawg Lounge.
Learn about the HEROES program on Tuesday, August 25 between 11:00-1:00 in the HEROES Headquarters.
Learn about transitions and adaptability skills on Wednesday, August 26 between 11:00-1:00 in the Student Center.
Engage with a workshop on consent and healthy decision-making on Thursday, August 17 at 11:00 in Student Services Building 150/160.
