It's a small world! Four of our Saluki alums met up at the 2026 National Advanced Silviculture Program training at the University of Kentucky Robinson Forest. Kenny Ruzicka (silviculturist for Siuslaw National Forest), Gabby Will (sale preparation forester for Daniel Boone National Forest), John Lhotka (professor at UK), and Paul Tikusis (silviculturist for Custer Gallatin National Forest). Our summer field studies students have all been together at Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park in Missouri the last few days. Now they will split up with half the group heading east to the Smokies and half heading west to the Rockies.
