November's member spotlight is on Kira Holtsclaw! Kira is a junior in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Sciences, as well as SWE's vice president.

Q. Why did you join SWE?
A. I joined SWE because the people I met at my very first RSO fair were so nice and welcoming and it felt like a community I wanted to be a part of.

Q. What is your favorite thing you’ve done with SWE?
A. My favorite thing I’ve done with SWE is go to conferences and get closer to all the girls on the long car rides and long nights staying up way too late playing card games.

Q. Has being a part of SWE changed you?
A. It has given me the confidence to lead in all facets of school and life and given me friends for life.

Q. What is one thing you’d like to do before you graduate college? (Not necessarily SWE-related!)
A. One thing I’d like to do before graduating is to spend more weekends out and about, like taking a day trip to the St. Louis Zoo or to IKEA.
