Interprofessional collaboration!Abbi is one of our PTA students and Jalynn is a SIU OTD student. They teamed up today to present to the therapy staff at Marshall Browning Hospital about the new therapy equipment, BlazePods! ABBI and Jalynn are both completing their clinical at Marshall Browning and they are demonstrating how inter-professional collaboration is important! We are so thankful for area therapists like Jerica Flint who supports our program by taking students for their clinical internships!

The summer after their second year, PTA students at SIU are in two 6-week internships. This is where they apply their knowledge, gain confidence, and continue to learn from amazing clinicians!
