Southeast New Mexico College is looking to hire a
Technology Infrastructure Technician

Required: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Electronics Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field; and three (3) years of experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, network infrastructure, low-voltage systems, electronic security systems, or a related technology support environment. Ability to follow technical instructions, use basic tools and equipment, perform routine technology infrastructure support tasks, and read and follow basic technical diagrams and documentation.
Equivalency: Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience as approved by the Human Resources Department.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Grade: Six 6

Required: Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Electronics Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field; with three (3) years of experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, network infrastructure, low-voltage systems, electronic security systems, or a related technology support environment. Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and document technology infrastructure and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and documentation.
Equivalency: Relevant industry certifications and/or demonstrated professional experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, network infrastructure, low-voltage systems, electronic security systems, fiber optics, or related technology environments may substitute for formal education requirements. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience as approved by the Human Resources Department.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Grade: Eight 8
