Our EOF students aren’t just showing up in the classroom—they’re showing up everywhere! 👏🏽

A few of our amazing EOF students have been busy this summer as cheerleaders, representing SCC with pride, energy, and school spirit! 📣✨ We are so proud of the way they continue to stay engaged, build connections, and make the most of every opportunity.

The Good family continues to show how one college experience can grow into a lasting family legacy.

Where It All Began... 🌱🌳

Every great journey starts with a single step—and for the Good family, that journey began at Salem Community College.

We’re proud to celebrate three members of one family whose SCC experiences continue to make a difference:
✨ Dr. Katelyn Good – SCC alumna and now a dedicated staff member, helping students succeed every day through the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program.
✨ Tara Good – SCC alumna with a master’s degree in Education, who returned this summer to inspire EOF Connections students by sharing her knowledge, passion, and love of teaching.
✨ Coming this Fall – The next chapter begins as Katelyn and Tara’s brother John joins the SCC and EOF family as a new student, continuing a tradition of opportunity, growth, and success.

The Good family reminds us that a college experience doesn’t just change one life—it can inspire an entire family and future generations.

At Salem Community College, we’re proud to plant the seeds that grow into lifelong success.

As we wrap up another incredible summer, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the memories, connections, and accomplishments that made EOF College Connections 2026 such a success. 💚

To our incoming students: thank you for showing up, getting involved, and embracing the EOF family from day one. Your enthusiasm made this summer one to remember!

To our Salem Community College faculty, staff, alumni, families, and community partners: thank you for your support, encouragement, and collaboration. Together, we’ve helped our newest students build confidence, create meaningful connections, and prepare for a successful academic year.

Our EOF College Connections Summer Program was filled with team-building activities, networking opportunities, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. We wrapped it all up with Community Day on July 30: complete with delicious food, Mister Softee, games, and lots of smiles🍦
