The Carrington Research Extension Center is a department within NDSU’s Agriculture Experiment Station. The CREC research and extension programs are diverse as they are responsible for providing research based information for both the crop and livestock sectors of the state’s agricultural economy. The major programs of the CREC include Agronomy, Beef, Soils, Plant Pathology, Nutrient Management, Northern Hardy Fruit and Foundation Seedstocks. The CREC staff is primarily responsible for the diversity of research and educational projects based from the Center. However, extensive collaborations with Experiment Station and Extension Service project leaders from across NDSU Agriculture are integrated with many CREC projects. NDSU does not discriminate in its programs and activities on the basis of age, color, gender expression/identity, genetic information, marital status, national origin, participation in lawful off-campus activity, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, public assistance status, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, spousal relationship to current employee, or veteran status, as applicable.
