Being a part of University of West Georgia's Greek community is a truly rewarding experience. Members in Panhellenic sororities achieve excellence in academics, leadership, community involvement, and social activities.The Delta Psi Chapter of Kappa Delta was founded at the University of West Georgia on April 3, 1971, and since colonizing in Carrollton, we have made a remarkable impact at UWG. We’v

e managed to be ranked first in grades for three consecutive semesters while also volunteering and having tons of fun in the process. We live by our open motto: Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest, and as Kappa Delta ladies, we always seek to be our best. We’re polished in white pearls and we’re loyal to the white rose and the color green. Our strong and loving bond of sisterhood is what makes Kappa Delta so unique, and that which makes us unique, makes Kappa Delta beautiful.

We are so excited to welcome a new group of Wolves to the University of West Georgia and can’t wait to meet all of you. Whether you’re already thinking about sorority recruitment or just beginning your UWG journey, we’re so happy you’re here!

Over the past few weeks we have highlighted our executive council, for the last we are introducing our beautiful president !! She works so hard for this chapter and we are so proud of her! Here are some words from her!

“Serving on council has truly been the most meaningful part of my college experience. It’s hard to even put into words how much Kappa Delta has shaped who I am today. From walking through these doors during my own recruitment, Fall 2023, to now serving as President, every season has given me something different, but all equally special. As Panhellenic Delegate, I learned how to represent our chapter with pride and build connections beyond our own sisterhood. As Vice President of Recruitment and Marketing, I found so much joy in sharing what makes KD so special and helping new girls find a place that feels like home. And now, as President, I’ve been challenged in the best ways like growing in confidence, strength, and purpose while leading a chapter that means everything to me.

KD has given me more than just positions, its also given me a family that has supported me on my hardest days, celebrated me on my best ones, and constantly pushed me to be the best version of myself. One of my favorite experiences will always be recruitment, watching each new member run home filled with excitement, knowing they just found something that will change their life the same way it changed mine. Getting to lead alongside the most genuine, driven, and inspiring women is something I will never take for granted. I am endlessly grateful for this sisterhood, the memories, the growth, and the love that I get to experience every single day.

Delta Psi is beyond proud of all you’ve accomplished throughout your college journey. Thank you for the love, leadership, laughter, and memories you’ve poured into our sisterhood over the years. Watching each of you grow into the women you are today has been such a gift.

No matter where life takes you next, you will always have a home in Delta Psi. We can’t wait to cheer you on in this next chapter and see all the amazing things ahead for each of you. 🫶💚
