Last year, students raced to the finish line for homecoming and had an absolute blast! This year, we are bringing it back to the 80s for the Back to the Future theme.

Ready to represent the University of West Georgia? Homecoming Court is a prestigious opportunity to showcase your leadership, campus involvement, and impact while serving as an ambassador for the Wolf community during one of the year’s most celebrated traditions. Homecoming court is officially open to all students for sign ups until September 25th so be sure to click the link in our bio!

September 7-13th is the week we honor and raise awareness for Su***de Prevention through different outlets on campus.

On September 8th, the Volunteer Ambassadors are hosting Every Step Matters: Su***de Prevention Walk from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Grassy Triangle, near UCC, near the Murphy Building, near Love Valley, and the Campus Center. Students will have the chance to take part in pledge signing, journal bedazzling, and decorating bookmarks.

Then, the Center of Student Involvement and Inclusion (CSII) and Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) will be hosting Speak Up, Speak Out, Make a Difference, World Su***de Prevention Day on September 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Grassy Triangle. Join this safe, supportive space by writing motivational notes, learning about counseling resources, and enjoying freebies, all while uplifting yourself and others.

Choose compassion, connection, and communication when stopping by the space built for YOU. Come with open ears and learn how to support those in need!

Honor. Remember. Never forget. 💙❤️

Join University Recreations (UREC) for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Master Tribute Challenge on September 11th from 7:00a.m. – 11:00p.m. in the Campus Center Front Gym. In honor of 9/11, students are challenged to climb 2,071 steps on the Stair Master to be entered into a drawing.

In order to enter the drawing, you must take a picture of your 2,071 step count from the Stair Master along with your UWG ID and email it to [email protected]. (Winners will be announced at a later date right here on UWG.Campuslife!)

This is an interactive way to remember the fallen heroes who served during 9/11. 🫡🇺🇸

New city, same Wolf Mentality🐺💙❤️

The Wolves football team is taking on the Kennesaw State Owls for the first away football game of the season, and the Wolf Pack is traveling to tailgate!
Join the pregame on September 3rd at 5:00p.m. at the Walen field at Fifth Third Stadium. Come watch as UWG Football takes home the dub! Suit up in red and hit the road to show off your school spirit!

Buses will transport students from the Coliseum at 2:00p.m. Transportation is provided on a first come first served basis, so be sure to click the link in our bio to sign up!

Join the Office of Veteran & Military Programs for Remembering 9/11: Honoring Service and Sacrifice, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in Parker Hall, 1st floor. Honor the lives of those lost on September 11, 2001, and meet students, staff, and community members they reflect on resilience, unity, and service. This is a great opportunity to show respect and honor to Veterans and those currently serving in the Military. Add it to your calendar, and let’s remember their lives and honor their legacy. 💙❤️🤍
