✉️ Putting pen to paper never goes out of style.

This week at Monday Night Honors, Dr. Tiffany Parsons introduced students to the new pen pal program through the partnership between the Honors College and the Prison Education Program. After learning about the Pen Pal Program, participants grabbed their pens and wrote their very first letters, beginning what we hope will be many meaningful conversations to come.

Our first Monday Night Honors was a sweet success, with a record 86 students attending the Honors Council’s Ice Cream Social, our largest first-semester turnout ever!✨

Students got to meet this year’s Honors Council and Peer Mentors, make new connections through Human Bingo, enjoy some tasty treats, and celebrate alongside 10 Pack Card winners.

We came. We built towers. We escaped rooms. We earned pins. 😎

Our newest Honors students kicked off the year at the Cookout and Pinning Ceremony with team-building challenges, great food, and plenty of laughs. We loved celebrating the beginning of their Honors experience and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! 🎓✨
