A membership organization bringing together community colleges to create economic vitality through entrepreneurship education. www.nacce.com

NACCE is a non-profit organization that creates economic vitality through community colleges. NACCE was founded in 2002. The organization held its inaugural conference in 2003 and has held annual national conferences each year since. It became a membership organization in early 2006. NACCE fosters economic development by serving as the hub for the dissemination and integration of knowledge and successful practices regarding entrepreneurship education and student business incubation. As a membership association, NACCE helps community colleges nationwide link their traditional role of workforce development with entrepreneurial development. The result is innovative programs and courses that advance economic growth and prosperity in the communities served by the colleges.

NACCE | September in Review: Celebrating NACCE's Birth & Partnerships 🎉

September is in the rearview mirror 🚗💨, and what a month it was! Between plenty of travel and digging through decade-old folders to look back at NACCE's beginnings 📂✨, we've had a lot to celebrate.

Our team was on the move 🧳, but no one logged more miles than our CEO, . Rebecca Corbin. ✈️ She visited events across North Carolina, up the coast to New Jersey, and to the midwest in Detroit. 🌎 Dr. Trenton Hightower headed south to New Orleans. 🎷

Looking ahead, October's theme is "NACCE's Annual Conference Focus" 🎯 as we get ready to head north to Boston 🍂 for our Annual Conference, kicking off November 1st! 🗓️

This week, Verizon announced the launch of its Verizon AI Skills for America program, a $70 million commitment to bring free AI training to job seekers, small businesses, educators, and workers navigating change. Verizon AI Skills for America offers free self-paced training from leading organizations like Anthropic, Coursera, Google, IBM, OpenAI, and Microsoft for all skill levels.

NACCE is proud to be one of the nonprofit partners helping make it real. Access to great training is only part of the equation. People also need coaching, guidance, and local support to turn it into practical skills and confidence.

That's where community colleges and their entrepreneurship centers come in. Our network is already on the ground, working with the entrepreneurs, small business owners, and learners who stand to benefit most.
