Mission Statement

To promote maximal educational benefit for students within the field of Interpreter Preparation through awareness, social interaction, and on site experience. The purpose of the Club is to:

• Connect between the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing communities during the semester year.

• Provide a safe and inviting atmosphere for students of varying ASL skill levels.

• Instill

a feeling of “camaraderie”, “TEAM” (Together Everyone Achieves More) and inclusion during our time at CCBC.

• Support the Deaf Community in a productive and positive manner in any way possible.

• Create and support an experience, which in turn will give strength and determination for the future.

Tomorrow is our meetup at Patapsco State Park! We will take a 30 minute (0.6-mile hilly) walk to Cascade Falls and back, then set up blankets and chairs in the picnic area for socializing and games. Follow signs to the Orange Grove Area, then meet us at the end of the road by the “River Road Trail” sign. Pets on leashes are welcome. Hope to see you there!
