2026 GVSM Grad highlight 🎓✨⬇️

“When I was 14, Mrs. Martine contacted my mom about me possibly coming to the school, and I really wanted to then. However, during my sophomore and junior years of high school, I started brushing it off and didn’t really want to go anymore. Then, during my junior year, I went on my usual mission trip to Memphis, and that’s where I felt the strongest call to attend the school. 

I came home and told my mom, and literally the next week, Jess (school administrator) and Mrs. Martine texted her asking if I was interested in coming for my senior year. I sent in my application, got accepted, and I wouldn’t change that decision for the world. 

I met some of my very best friends at GVSM and received so much mentorship and discipleship while I was there. Overall, GVSM changed the trajectory of my life for the better. To anyone considering the school—do it. You won’t regret it at all. 

To anyone thinking about pursuing missions, it is so worth it. The harvest is ready, but we need people to go after it. I have never regretted a single mission trip I’ve been on; each one has changed my life in different ways. Missions is a path I never thought I would take, but now that I’m here, I have never felt more fulfilled or more excited about what God has next.” 

It doesn’t matter where you are in life. When God calls you, it’s worth saying yes. Macie’s story is proof of that!

Throughout his life growing up and even during his college years, he’s always had missions on the forefront. We’re so grateful he chose GVSM and we can’t wait to see what God does through him this year!

Hear our 2026 GVSM graduate Lauren’s testimony! ⬇️

“I first heard of GV at my church and decided to join a mission trip. I went to Peru in July of 2025 where I learned about the School of Missions.

I knew that the Holy Spirit was leading me to go, so I packed up and moved to Oklahoma in a month.

God provided the entire way, and I have learned so much. Being at GV has equipped me to continue taking the gospel to the nations.”

Lives are changed when you step into what God is doing, and this is one of those stories ✨

“My journey at GVSM has been absolutely LIFE-CHANGING!! I had been aware of the importance of missions, but GVSM truly opened my eyes to the need for laborers in the Harvest.

Everyone connected with Global Ventures and GVSM is so full of love and light and a heart for the Harvest, it’s impossible to walk away unchanged.

Because of GVSM I not only have a greater heart for the Harvest but the tools to be a part of the great Harvest work happening all over the world!

To anyone considering missions, I say stop waiting and simply GO! If you’re not sure how, then partner with GV or come to GVSM. Just like me, you’ll never be the same.”

Our 1st year interns have been incredible to watch this year!🤍

As part of there internship they stepped out in boldness, and led outreaches to serve our community—being the hands and feet of Jesus in a real and tangible way.

We are so proud of the leaders they are becoming and the way they continue to say “yes” to what God is calling them into. This is only the beginning of all He has in store 🙌

What a FUN week! 🤡📚🌏

We had teachers from around the world: Pastor Chantale Paul-Hus in Quebec, Bob Scott in Thailand, and Pastor José Navarro in Peru! We are so thankful for their wealth of knowledge and experience they shared with us! 🙌

And to finish off the week, we did mission trip training for clown makeup, soundboxes, and props! Our stundents are ready to take on the summer trips! ✈️
