2026 GVSM Grad highlight đâ¨âŹď¸
âWhen I was 14, Mrs. Martine contacted my mom about me possibly coming to the school, and I really wanted to then. However, during my sophomore and junior years of high school, I started brushing it off and didnât really want to go anymore. Then, during my junior year, I went on my usual mission trip to Memphis, and thatâs where I felt the strongest call to attend the school.Â
I came home and told my mom, and literally the next week, Jess (school administrator) and Mrs. Martine texted her asking if I was interested in coming for my senior year. I sent in my application, got accepted, and I wouldnât change that decision for the world.Â
I met some of my very best friends at GVSM and received so much mentorship and discipleship while I was there. Overall, GVSM changed the trajectory of my life for the better. To anyone considering the schoolâdo it. You wonât regret it at all.Â
To anyone thinking about pursuing missions, it is so worth it. The harvest is ready, but we need people to go after it. I have never regretted a single mission trip Iâve been on; each one has changed my life in different ways. Missions is a path I never thought I would take, but now that Iâm here, I have never felt more fulfilled or more excited about what God has next.âÂ
It doesnât matter where you are in life. When God calls you, itâs worth saying yes. Macieâs story is proof of that!
