Tonight is the night! Come and audition for the Faculty Dance Concert featuring choreography by Nancy Dobbs Owen, Tyler Orcutt, Dmitri Peskov, and Joshua Yago Mora!

You do not need to be a Dance major or minor to audition, so whether you’re a seasoned dancer, a student from another major, or simply looking for the opportunity to perform, we want YOU!

Pre-registration is required, so please scan the QR code and come to check-in at 4:15 p.m. in MC 116. Auditions begin promptly at 4:30 and will end at 6:30 p.m.

This Friday, September 4! Join us for eight engaging sessions during SUU Dance Wellness Day from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and end the day with our First Friday Yoga and Clothing Swap/Donation at 8:00 p.m.!

Experience a day filled with engaging activities and an opportunity to get to know some of the many resources we have available on SUU’s campus. All sessions except the hike will take place in MC 116.

Attention SUU Dance alumni in the Salt Lake area!

SUU Dance will have the chance to perform at the Dance for Life Su***de Awareness Gala Event on September 12th at the Capitol Theatre. If you are interested in performing, please email Danielle Lydia Sheather at [email protected] to let her know by July 15th.

Thanks to Liv Beck (‘22), we’ll hold rehearsals on August 3rd & 4th in the evening and on August 5th time TBD. Location is also TBD.

We’ll have a dress rehearsal at the Capitol Theatre on September 11th before our performance on September 12th.

We can’t wait to have you join us! Tag your friends, and help us get a great group of alumni to perform and represent SUU at such an important event!

‘The Rocky Horror Show’ opens THIS WEEK!
Camp, chaos, corsets, and catchy songs. The Rocky Horror Show is weird, wonderful, and unlike anything else… come take that jump to the left…

“The Rocky Horror Show” will play April 10, 11, 13 & 17 at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on April 11 & 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the SUU Auditorium.
Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for alumni, and $8 for non-SUU students. As always, SUU students, faculty, and staff are admitted for FREE with a valid ID.

SUU Theatre, Dance, & Arts Administration invites you to experience “The Rocky Horror Show” with book, music, and lyrics by Richard O’Brien, directed by Matthew Pedersen.

Join us for this cult-classic musical packed with outrageous characters, electrifying music, and plenty of…..surprises.

“The Rocky Horror Show” will play April 10, 11, 13 & 17 at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on April 11 & 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the SUU Auditorium.

Mariah Godfrey will present her Black Box Dance Performance “Good Grief!” on March 27th at 5:00 p.m. and March 28th at 4:30 p.m. at Southern Utah Museum of Art. This production will be especially unique, as the audience will sit in the museum’s visible storage area while the performance takes place in the back gallery. Don’t miss this unique chance to see dance and visual art interact in such an interesting way!

Tickets are $5.
