Ryder is this week's SUCCESS Academy Student of the week! He has been nominated for his positive traits in mathematics by Mrs. Jones. Ryder has shown an increased maturity and has remained focused on homework and note taking in class. He is contributing greatly to lessons/discussions and says he is committed to working hard and getting good grades this year. Mrs. Jones was impressed with what she’s seen so far, and feels this is an effort that should be recognized.

Ryder’s favorite subject in school is Spanish. Ryder’s biggest role model is former basketball coach John Stockton because he represents if you work hard you’ll be rewarded for it. Ryder’s advice to other SUCCESS students is to, “Manage your time wisely and keep working hard.” Thank you Ryder for showing true SUCCESS in our school.

Liam is this weeks SUCCESS Academy student of the week! He has been nominated for his positive traits by Mrs. Jensen. Liam is an intelligent and dedicated student, but more than that he is kind to classmates and polite to teachers. Liam always comes to class with positivity and spreads that optimism to everyone.
Liam’s favorite subject in school is math because it requires more problem solving than memorization. Liam’s advice to other SUCCESS students is “You’re only going to be in high school once, so why not enjoy it.” Liam’s biggest role model is himself because he knows who he wants to be. Thank you Liam for showing true SUCCESS in our school.

August Teen Science Cafe
Students learned from Dr. Jack Simons on the history of the Nobel Prize. Some students also created informational posters explaining some of the Nobel Prizes throughout history.

According to the U.S. News & World Report, our school, SUCCESS Academy, is ranked 30th of around 378 high schools in Utah. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare students for college. SUCCESS Academy is also #1 in Cedar City, Utah. We are so proud of our students and all their achievements.
