SUU Non-Traditional Students Non-Traditional Students at SUU are students who are:
-25+ years old
-Married, Widowed or Divorced

Southern Utah University is home to over 4,000 Non-Traditional Students which makes up about 40% of its student population. We understand that starting or returning to school as a Non-Traditional student can be extra difficult- that's why we are here to support and assist you in any way we can through your schooling.

Stop by for personalized student mentoring, help with understanding your veterans' benefits, affordable textbook rentals, and more. And of course there's the Veterans Lounge, where you can hang out, study, meet friends, and enjoy free snacks and coffee!

SUU has our very own Post Office, right here on campus! Students can send and receive packages, rent a P.O. Box for the year, get help with mailing regulations, and buy stamps and mailing supplies. The Post Office is open 9 AM to 2 PM every business day in the Sharwan Smith Student Center.

SUU's Undergraduate Writing Center is always here to support you through the writing requirements in all your classes! Open daily, they have writing tutors, a lounge space for students to write in, a computer lab, an online grammar guide, live feedback for your writing either in-person or online, and they even hold annual writing competitions!
