~4,000 miles by bus.

Thousands of listeners here in the Cedar Valley, hundreds across the country, and tens of thousands in Spain.
Three hosted festivals.
One national conference.
Countless moments that mattered.

Grateful for the singers, the journey, the supporters, and the work.

Looking forward to 2026 with The UNI Varsity Men's Glee Club, UNI Cecilians, Chorale, and Cantorei in the UNI School of Music!

As we head into the New Year, we learned about the passing of Gospel Music Legend, Richard Smallwood. A few weeks ago Chorale and UNI Cecilians sang his “Total Praise.” You can listen to a couple minutes of our performance below. We encourage you to learn more about his music!

Concert night! Click through the images below to get a sneak peak of the repertoire, guest artists, composers, and some behind the scenes info about our rehearsals. This is an incredibly special concert because the magnificent Makayla McDonald, a UNI School of Music alum is a featured guest artist on Margaret Bonds’ “Credo.” She’s joined by Jeremiah Sanders from Iowa and our very own Associate Professor of Piano Pedagogy, Andrea Johnson. We’re also joined by the UNI Wind Ensemble who will not only perform the first half of the concert, but perform under Associated Conductor, Alan Beving for Brahms’ “Begräbnisgesang.” We hope to see you tonight in the Great Hall at 7:30pm!
