I loved my time in the Life Program at the Cedar Rapids Campus of University of Dubuque. Learning from teachers who generally work in the field they are teaching helped give me real life experiences as lessons that better prepared me for my future career. As someone who often has to talk to people, one-on-one and in groups of varying sizes, having presentations in every class gave me the tools and resources to be a successful public speaker. Feeling comfortable in any crowd is a skill that I now have because of my time at UD. Because of the expedited nature of the sessions, I also learned better time management and organizational skills that I still use today in both my professional career and everyday life. The life program at UD made me a better student, employee, and person and I will always be grateful for my time there.
