We were honored to host participants from the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program at Kirkwood. Representatives from Azerbaijan, Chile, Nigeria, North Macedonia, the Philippines, and Vietnam joined us to exchange ideas on agricultural innovation, education, and workforce development.

These conversations remind us that we all benefit when we share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and learn from one another across borders.

Today we celebrate Rhonda Clough as she begins her well-earned retirement after 21 years at Kirkwood, following her years of teaching at Tipton. While we’ve had the opportunity to celebrate Rhonda over the past several months, today marks the close of an incredible career dedicated to students, agriculture, and education.

Thank you, Rhonda, for the passion, energy, and unwavering commitment you’ve brought to our department and to the countless students and colleagues you’ve impacted along the way. Congratulations on your retirement, we wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter. Enjoy every minute, you’ve earned it!
