Through Kirkwood Community College's College Credit in High School program, students across our seven-county region can earn college credit, explore career paths and build skills that prepare them for the workforce — all while still in high school.

These partnerships with local school districts help students discover careers earlier, strengthen the region's future workforce and save families money. Last school year alone, the program saved students and families more than $12.5 million in future tuition costs.

When students succeed, our employers, communities and region succeed.

We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of “The Community’s College — The Community’s Future” campaign, the largest fundraising effort in Kirkwood’s history.

A remarkable $2 million gift from the Russell & Ann Gerdin Charitable Foundation brings total dollars raised to more than $22 million. In total, 1,620 donors contributed in support of scholarships, healthcare programs, English language courses, innovation, and ultimately, student success.
