🐾 5 Sweet Faces Still Waiting for Their Forever Homes 🐾
These dogs have spent time learning, growing, and being cared for by our veterinary technology students. Now, Loki, Mickey, Delilah, Ruby, and Alfred are hoping someone will see their potential and give them a chance.
Could one of them be your next best friend?
🐶 STILL WAITING FOR HOME
LOKI
Estimated at 2 years old and ~60 #
Loki is a big, energetic guy with an even bigger personality! He loves getting out for walks and activities, and once he’s had a chance to burn off some energy, he loves to cuddle and relax with his people. Loki appears to be very excited about both dogs and cats, so a proper, gradual introduction would be important when meeting other animals. We think the right canine match may be possible, but he will need a family willing to take introductions at his pace and see how he does.
MICKEY
Estimated at 4 years old and ~45 #
Mickey is a happy, social guy who loves people and enjoys going for walks. He has done well around both dogs and cats during his time in our program. When Mickey first arrived at the shelter in May, he was extremely emaciated, but he has come a long way since then and is ready for a family of his own. He does have a history of eating a soft toy that required surgery to remove, so his new family will need to be mindful about keeping him away from toys, objects, or other items he may be tempted to swallow.
DELILAH
Estimated at 2 years old and ~60 #
A loyal, smart girl with plenty of personality. She can be stubborn, but she’s also incredibly motivated by cheese and ready to bond with her person. She is not dog friendly and not cat friendly. She wants to be the only spoiled one in the home!
RUBY
Estimated at 4.5 years old and ~50 #
A chill, playful German Shepherd who enjoys walks but is equally happy relaxing by your side. Ruby has met young toddlers and LOVED them and did well around the cats and dogs in the program.
ALFRED
Estimated at 2 years old and ~50 #
A people-loving guy who is always ready to learn. He knows place, sit/stay, leave it, and come and would love a family who can keep his smart brain busy. He is not dog friendly and not cat friendly. He wants to be the only spoiled one in the home!
❤️ They’ve learned so much. Now they just need YOU.
