RMSA/Cornell Alumni Event: Wine Tasting + “Master Class” Play

July 31, 2026 06:15 PM MDT
Teller House

Master Class, Two Ways. A Culturally Curious × Friday Night Date Night Experience

You’re invited to a Friday night that transports you twice.

The main event: Rear orchestra tickets to see Cornell alumna Marcia Ragonetti in Master Class, the Tony Award-winning drama about opera legend Maria Callas, performed at the exquisite Teller House at Central City Opera, one of 27 historic properties stewarded by the fifth-oldest opera company in America. An hour from both Denver and Boulder, and a genuine time machine the moment you walk in.

Before the curtain, a Greek wine flight led by our friend, Tony from SommSauvage, a Master Sommelier candidate who can take you from a sun-bleached terrace on Santorini to the volcanic hills of Naoussa without leaving your seat. The only luggage you’ll need for this sensorial journey is an open palate.

Timing:
6:15pm — Greek Wine Experience
7:30pm — Master Class

Tickets & Registration:
Tickets are $75 per person.

Please register on the Cornell site here! Be sure to include Stanford as your college in the registration process: https://cornelluniversity.imodules.com/s/1717/giving/interior.aspx?sid=1717&gid=2&pgid=38879&content_id=33183

Join us for the Lagoon Concert Series at CSU Fort Collins!

July 15, 2026 06:30 PM MDT

We welcome Rootbeer Richie to the Lagoon stage for the first time to swoon Lagooners with their signature sound inspired by legends like Ray Charles, Lee Dorsey, Fats Domino and Sam Cook. The 8-piece band’s soulful rhythm and blues blends a unique “swamp”pop sound by create a New Orleans rhythm and blues backbeat on the bass and the drums, rock ‘n’ roll style guitars, thumpin’ piano, horns and heavily belted lovelorn lyrics that is sure to have you on your feet all-night. This Louisiana native has put down roots in Colorado and hasn’t looked back. Performing at the top Denver and Northern Colorado venues, including FoCoMX and in August will perform at Red Rocks, Rootbeer has become a staple within the Colorado music scene.

This concert will be outdoors, so please plan to bring your own seating, snacks, and beverages!
