Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming students from BECA High School to DeSales University as they completed their Peer Listener Training. It was inspiring to watch this dedicated group come together with a shared commitment to supporting their peers through mental health challenges. By developing active listening, empathy, and communication skills, these students are helping create a culture where no one has to face struggles alone.
Thank you to these future peer leaders for your dedication to making a difference. We can’t wait to see the positive impact you’ll have back at your school! 🌟

Between 2023 and 2024, the su***de rate among Asian Americans saw the largest increase, rising from 6.3 to 6.8 per 100,000. So, now more than ever, it is critical that the AAPI community feels empowered to reach out for help and that they have access to culturally-relevant mental health care. Together, we can (and must!) support AAPI mental health.
