On Saturday, October 24th, 2015, hundreds of high schoolers from around the country will come to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to participate in Splash! @ UIUC. Splash is an event that allows high schoolers to take a day of college classes taught by undergrads - all at no cost to them. The goal of the program is get high school students thinking about their plans for the future an
d educate them about the programs that the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign can offer them. Our teachers at Splash! want to make the most of their students' time. Each student may select up to five lecture-length classes that interest them. We offer a wide array of classes that provide a creative take on conventional classroom topics. Some classes include:
-The Physics of Ballet
-User Interface (UI) Design
-The Ethnography of a Hipster
