University of Illinois Fraternities & Sororities We work with a wide range of constituents to help undergraduate chapters of fraternities and sororities maximize their potential.

✨ Summer Internship Spotlight ✨

For our last summer internship spotlight, we are highlighting Jaymeson Barham, PHC's VP Operations and former Chapter President of Pi Beta Phi! Jaymeson is a rising senior studying Accountancy. This summer, she interned at KPMG in Chicago, as a Commercial Audit Intern. Congrats, Jaymeson!

Jaymeson said, "I loved connecting with so many incredible people but especially those who are active members or alumni of Greek life here at Illinois!"

Panhellenic Recruitment registration closes tonight at midnight! Hear from Panhellenic Council President Lizzie Madjarov about her experience!

Lizzie said, "Panhellenic has become the heart of my college experience. Through leadership, service, and philanthropy, I’ve grown in ways I never expected and gained experiences that will prepare me for life beyond college. The greatest gift, however, has been finding a community of women who have become my biggest supporters and my closest friends. The Panhellenic Council has filled my college years with unforgettable memories and a constant reminder that we’re strongest when we lift one another up. My hope is that every woman who walks through our community discovers the same sense of belonging and sisterhood that I’ve been so fortunate to find."

Lizzie is a senior studying Chemistry with a minor in Business. She is a member of Kappa Delta, where she previously served as the Chapter President, and is involved on campus with Student Alumni Ambassadors as the 2025-2026 Vice President of Membership.

MaKayla Gayler, a '20 Alpha Phi graduate, is joining the Illinois Athletics team as the new Head Cheerleading Coach! At the University of Illinois, she was a Fighting Illini cheerleader and two-time team captain and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Meet 2026-27 Student Programming Intern, Kristal De La Torre! 🧡

Kristal is a rising senior studying Speech and Hearing Sciences with an Audiology concentration. She is a member of Chi Omega, where she previously served on the Marketing Cardinal Cabinet Board as Banner Chair and was the former New Member Educator on the Executive Board. On campus, Kristal is involved in Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) and the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA).

Kristal said, "I am so excited to join the FSA office this fall as a Program Support Intern! I can't wait to give back to the Greek community after all the wonderful experiences it has given me, and I know this role will be just as fulfilling and rewarding."
