🫁💙 A YEAR OF HARD WORK… AND A REASON TO CELEBRATE! 🎉

The Parkland College Respiratory Therapy Program is proud to announce that we have received continuing accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)! 🎓

Accreditation is an extensive, year-long process that takes an in-depth look at every aspect of a respiratory therapy program—from curriculum and clinical education to student outcomes, faculty, resources, and continuous improvement.

We are thrilled to share that our accreditors praised our program and the work we are doing to prepare the next generation of respiratory therapists. We also successfully completed the process with no citations.

This accomplishment reflects the dedication and support of so many people who make our program successful.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our clinical sites and preceptors, Medical Director Dr. Brett Kauffman, current and past students, and our Advisory Board for your continued support.

We are also incredibly grateful to President Dr. Pamela Lau, Vice President Dr. Nancy Sutton, Dean Kim Pankau, and Health Professions Chair Michelle Roberts for their support throughout this process.

💙 We are proud of our program, proud of our students, and incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make this achievement possible!

🎉 Here’s to another 10 years of educating and inspiring future respiratory therapists! 🫁🎓
