After tonight's shooting at UNC Charlotte, we can only pass along the words of Interim Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz: Our hearts are breaking for our friends and colleagues. The end of the school year should be a time of celebration, not grief. For our UNC-Chapel Hill community, resources are available if you need support. https://caps.unc.edu

Thank you to the wonderful collaborators we worked with to put on such an educational and fulfilling event!

And don't forget: tomorrow at 5:00 PM in the Michael Ho**er Research Center lower atrium we will be holding a naloxone training in honor of National Public Health Week! Come join us.

Yesterday, in honor of National Public Health Week, students from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health hosted an event on the importance of interprofessional education and practice in addressing the opioid epidemic.

Students from across campus came to hear panelists discuss their interdisciplinary and collaborative efforts, including representatives from IPRC and NC Department of Health and Human Services. Thanks to everyone who made the event such a success!
