Several students have had a chance to work with some of the great organizations mentioned in the article as part of their internship program. Shout out to UNC alumnus Steven Bucknall and Sam Hoopsfix Neter for their hard work keeping the country engaged!

Some light at the end of the tunnel? We have an extended deadline of April 1 for our fall semester program in London. It may look a little different, but we are excited to bring UNC students to Winston House again soon!

Up to 10,000 fans could be back in stadiums by mid-May as part of the government's plans to move England out of lockdown.

Another round of congratulations is called for in honor of UNC Honors London alumnus Patrick Clinch! He will returning to the UK to study on the Marshall Scholarship!

Patrick Clinch is Carolina's 21st Marshall Scholar. The Marshall Scholarship covers university fees, cost of living expenses, annual book grants, thesis grant, research and daily travel grants, and fares to and from the United States.

With formal events and travel canceled, the tradition-bound tailors are gently embracing technology — and finding leverage on their landlords.

London, like cities all over the US, is grappling with the wealth it earned on the backs of enslaved people.

Students on the UNC Honors Semester in London have had the great opportunity to intern with the Legacies of British Slave-ownership project at the University College London (cited in this article) and contribute to the research involved in this reckoning.

Two prominent firms, Lloyd’s of London and Greene King, have acknowledged their ties to the slave trade and pledged to make amends.
