* Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
* Saturday-Sunday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
-Kessing Pool is open!

On this Mother’s Day we want to recognize and important person for our department. After three decades of dedication, leadership, and impact, we are honored to celebrate the retirement of an unforgettable member of the UNC Campus Recreation family. 💙🐏

For 30 years, Lauren Mangili helped shape the heart of our department - from opening Rams Head Rec Center and transforming renovated spaces to elevating the experience for every student, staff member, and participant who walked through our doors.

A coveted Pilates instructor, trusted leader in fitness, operations, and business management, and the ultimate “work mom,” she created a culture of excellence, support, and community that will continue long after retirement. Her guidance, encouragement, and care touched countless employees and students over the years.

She didn’t just help run Campus Recreation, she helped build it into the community it is today.

Thank you for the leadership, laughter, mentorship, and legacy you leave behind. Your impact is immeasurable, and you will always be part of the UNC Campus Recreation family. 💫

-Climbing at Pilot Mountain on 4/18
-Overnight Caving and Camping at Worley’s Cave 4/18-19

Summer Summer Lesson registrations are about to open up on 4/28 - we’ve got opportunities for all ages at the Kessing Outdoor Pool

You can register for intramural pickleball now and pool battleship soon! at go.unc.edu/intramurals

We are still hiring for a few positions, especially our summer lifeguard and swim instructor positions. No experience required

We are especially looking for students interested in working as a lifeguard or swim instructor this summer! No experience needed, we got you!

If you’re an approved student org and are looking for space on campus for next fall, our lottery is open now and we will be taking interest forms through the end of the semester
